Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.

I’m Laura Cross and I’ll be your tour guide through the adventure-land of writing your first script. I am a screenwriter, author, script analyst, and writing coach. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Feature Film Writing Program. As a "hidden writer" I have adapted six books into produced screenplays. I am also the owner of Scenario Writing Studio and have worked as a freelance script reader for production companies and literary agencies.
It has been rumored that I have seen every Clint Eastwood film, openly weep whenever Harvey Keitel dies on screen, and spend my spare time analyzing film noir and adaptations. I will neither confirm, nor deny this.
Always remember: “When in doubt, have a man come through the door with a gun in his hand.” – Raymond Chandler

There is nothing “new” in screenwriting techniques. I never claim any technique or idea is “my” technique or idea. Storytelling has been around for ages and so have all the techniques and ideas used to tell and write stories. Everything I share in regards to screenwriting is information and knowledge I have gathered over many years of writing screenplays and adapting material to film, working as a script reader and story analyst, attending classes, workshops and conferences, and reading books.
